We are ready to kick 2020 out the door and enjoy a glorious time of Premier League football, the Festive Fixtures. In this episode, we look at the state of the league for the start of the festive season and see where we think things will land. Blake has…thoughts about Arsenal as Ron and Ferris will get coal in their stockings for laughing at him.

We tried some fun beers this pod. Ferris brings in the Cuddly Chupacabra from Tactical Brewing in Orlando, FL, while Blake rocks the 2XMAS Ale from Southern Tier and Ron enjoys a classic dark German lager.

With that German dark lager, Ron has introduced us to a beer cocktail for the holidays. Here is the recipe:

MUDDY SNOWMAN

500mL dark lager/Schwarzbier

1 shot of Brandy

1 shot of simple syrup

1/2 dozen dark chocolate chips

1 Gingerbread cookie

Whip cream (fresh is best)

Place chocolate chips in the bottom of a glass
Crush gingerbread cookie in small crumbles and place in glass
Pour beer into glass
Pour brandy into glass
Pour simple syrup into glass
Apply whipped cream to top of beer
Stir
Drink
