TBG 71: Premier League Matchday 8 | NWSL Championship

In this episode we talk the dominance of Manchester City, the parking the bus of Manchester United, and the utter failure of Arsenal and Chelsea to win games they had no business losing. Ferris also gives us a report of his experience at the NWSL Championship where Portland Thorns were victorious. We also discuss the recent Subbuteo tournament we played at in Orlando, hosted by Garage Soccer. Ferris was very excited to come in third and snag a medal.

TBG 70: USA Eliminated from World Cup 2018

What more is there to say? USMNT does not qualify for World Cup for first time since 1986. We serve up a slice of hate-cake with a little side of hope as we wallow in the misery that was watching the USA play against Trinidad Tobago.

The good news of the evening is Ron introduced us to the only Trappist brewery outside of Europe. We tried Spencer Brewery's Trappist Ale, brewed by monks of Saint Joseph's Abbey in Spencer, Massachusetts.

Maybe we are a little excited the National Women's Soccer League Championship will be held in Orlando this year. TBG 68: Premier League Matchday 6 | MLS Update

After a week break, the boys are back to review an awesome brew from Lancaster Brewing Company and discuss what's been happening in the English Premier League and MLS. Our beer was caffeinated, so we might have taken a detour into creating a Netflix style British mafia tv show starring some of our favorite soccer players.

Once we get back to the soccer, we discuss the rise of the Man City juggernaut, Chelsea's star striker, and the antics of José Mourinho. When then move to the domestic game and the road to the MLS Cup. This also includes us wallowing in the misery that is the current state of Orlando City Soccer Club.

Blake brought the beer that was shared to him from the brewmaster of Lancaster Brewing Company in Lancaster, PA. It was a delicious IPA brewed with coffee that perked us up perfectly for the show.
